Little Man

Hey everyone!! So I have a super quick post today... Everyone in our house is sick, including me, but I wanted to take the time to enter this into this week's Peachy Keen Challenge.

When I saw the challenge this week was to create a 3D item, I knew right away what I was going to make. I am in need of some baby boy bags with matching cards...

I used a SVG from Paper Piecings By Nikki to make my baby. Instead of using the file as an SVG, I put all the pieces together and used the print and cut feature to make my baby. I wanted to make a few sets of these cards/bags and wasn't about to put together a whole bunch of tiny pieces...

Did you notice he's holding a wrench in his hand?! :)

Here is what I used to make this project...
- baby from Paper Piecings by Nikki (Baby Girl set)
- wrench from Silhouette store
- Baby Faces Assortment set by Peachy Keen
- Gears background stamp from Pink By Design
- Sentiment and tiny mustache stamp from Pink By Design Mustaches stamp set
- Recollections screw brads
- sentiment spot from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons
- Divine Twine
- white gelly roll pen
- creative imaginations patterned paper

You Color My World

It's Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons DT day!! Today I used last week's freebie for my fun project!!

Who wouldn't want a rainbow in a bag?!?! I know I would... In fact, I am having a REALLY hard time not eating these. I think I'll have to give them to the girls sooner than I intended...

Since the girls are VERY into their favorite colors right now, I had to make in purple for Brittyn and one in blue for Bria. Bria's favorite color is blue because it's the color of Cinderella's dress, FYI. :)

What I used to make these...
- Happy Rainbow cutting file from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons
- Happy Lashes face assortment stamps from Peachy Keen
- blush copic marker
- Sentiment from Pink By Design
- circles & spots Cuttlebug embossing folder
- white gelly roll pen

Check out what Lisa released in the store early last night!!!

So cute!! Can't wait to play with these!

Now head over to the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons blog for more DT projects! Thanks for stopping by!!! See you again tomorrow! :)

Spread Your Wings (Plus WINNER)

Hey friends!! Hope you all had a great weekend!! My kids have been sick all weekend so we've been soooo lazy. Today is movie day! And blog posting day, apparently! :)

I have a beautiful layout for you today, based on the current challenge sketch over at BoBunny.

I have had the Gabrielle Collection for a while, but have been hoarding it. Just this weekend when I was cleaning my craft room I realized I have quite a bit of really nice paper that is just collecting dust...

I even used some of my super pretty flowers that I have been saving for a special project!

AND I used some of my awesome new hemp twine I just got from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique on Friday. I can tell I will be using this a lot... I got it in 3 colors (natural, pink and black) but I'm thinking I will definitely be ordering more colors in the future!! (PS - Liz's shipping and customer service are so awesome!)

Here's what I used on this layout...
- Gabrielle Collection by BoBunny
- Natural Hemp twine from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique
- Prima & Recollections Flowers
- lace from thrift store
- buttons from Dollarstore

Welcome to Parenthood!

Hey everyone!! I have a super fun card for you today using my new Scrappy Moms stamps!! Now, just to be clear... this card was not in any way inspired by MY three little princesses... ;)

Funniest little monster ever, right?!

Wait until you see him WOBBLE!!! :) Here he goes...

This was my very first time using an Action Wobble! I only have two of them (given to me by a friend) and I have been saving them for a special occasion!! This monster just wouldn't have been the same with out a wobble! I knew exactly what I was going to do with this sentiment when I saw it!!

This sentiment came from one of the new releases from Scrappy Moms on Friday...

I even broke out my Ditto glimmer mist for this card! Love that lime green spray!! :) Need to use it more often.

Here are all the supplies I used for my card...
- Monster from Miss Kate Cuttables
- Action Wobble
- Fun Celebrations stamp set from Scrappy Moms
- striped paper from Stampin' Up
- Ditto green glimmer mist
- Colorbox fluid chalk ink

Hope you are all having a GREAT weekend!! I have lots of new crafty goodies that I hope to get into today!! Hopefully my little monsters, er, angels, let me have some peaceful time in my craft room! :)

And Then There Were 5...

Happy Saturday!! I don't know about you, but I'm getting a little cabin fever... Two of my girls have been sick these past couple days so we really haven't left the house. :( The only plus side of this is lots of cuddles annnnd a little online shopping... Since I can't get out of the house, I need a little excitement and the instant gratification of buying digital paper and elements is just the ticket!

My recent purchase was a couple of Echo Park kits. I got looking at one, Sweet Day, and realized it would be the perfect collection to use for a layout of the very first time we had our family of five together.

I used a little kraft bag as a place to store a cute little picture Bria drew and brought to the hospital as a gift for Taylah.

Love the new Dancing In Circles 2 stamp set from Scrappy Moms...

The supplies I used in this layout are...
- Echo Park Sweet Day digital collection
- Scrappy Moms Dancing In Circles Stamp set
- My Creative Time stitched circle dies
- Gold Shimmer twine from The Twinery (sold at Scrappy Moms Store)
- brackets from the Silhouette store
- hearts from Miss Kate Cuttables
- yellow ribbon from Little Free Radicals
- rich cocoa Momento ink
- Colorbox Fluid chalk ink
- kraft bag from Oriental Trading
- white gelly roll pen

I am linking this layout up over at Paper Issues (thank you Paper Issues for featuring a couple of my projects lately!!!), My Creative Time and Stuck On U Sketches.

I have more, more and more projects using the new Scrappy Moms stamps in the next few days! And don't forget about my giveaway ending soon...

CAS Engagement Congrats

Hi everyone!! Hope you've all had a great week!! Cheers to Friday!! I remember the days when it actually made a difference whether it was Friday or not... :)

I have a little card using Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbon digital paper and cutting files to share with you today.

I used the Christmas Brights digital paper collection for all the patterns you see on this card. Isn't that blue paper so pretty?! Love it...

I used a sketch from Case this Sketch as a guideline for my card:

Instead of using the SVGs in the typical way, I choose to turn them into a little epoxy embellishment. I made a 1" circle in Silhoutte Studio, added some digital paper to that circle, then placed my SVG over top. Once I had printed/cut the circle, I colored my champagne with a glittery gelly roll pen and added a 1" epoxy circle sticker over top. Before I printed out my blue background, I added my sentiment using the text tool so that it would print out on the background. Last but not least, I made my little striped flag!

My finishing touch was a little gold shimmer twine from The Twinery.

I am also having a giveaway to celebrate my blog makeover!! Here is what is up for grabs...

Check out THIS post for details on how to win!!

Hope you like my card today!! I hope my post/explanation made sense... The flu has made an appearance in our house and we're running super low on sleep so I'm not really "with it" while typing this out... I'm sure you'll forgive me! :)

Hey everyone!!! Happy Monday!! My husband finally had days off this weekend so we've been having lots of fun! One day we had a skating/sledding party with another family and yesterday we went out to Grandma and Grandpa's for some more sledding and a nice supper. Today is MY day!! I have spent the morning hiding in my craft room crafting, editing photos, blogging and listening to music with little interruption. A day like today was definitely needed.

Here is the card I made this morning. I have been wanting to make this card for soo long...

Does this get you itching for Spring, if you're not already??

Love this little bunny...

You Are the Milk to My Cookie (Tutorial)

Oh my gosh... I love the card I have for you today! :) I hope you think it's as cute as I do!!

I paired two SVGs - a freebie from Miss Kate Cutables (the cookie) and a jug of milk from Lettering Delights - and used the PNC (print & cut) feature to make the main focal point of my card. Of COURSE I used Peachy Keen faces on my characters... the face set I used is the Wide Eyed Kids Assortment. I used a shape from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons and filled it with some digital paper from Lettering Delights (the Once Upon A Princess set) to create my background for my milk & cookie. If you would like to see how I did everything in Silhouette Studio to design this card, check out the tutorial below!

My blue banner is also from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons and is filled with another pattern from the Once Upon A Princess set from Lettering Delights. My sentiment comes from the Pink By Design stamp set, You Are. I also added a touch of Divine twine.

If you would like to see how I assembled this card, here is that part!!

I am linking this card up over at the Scrapbook Steals blog a, Scrappy Mom's, Peachy Keen, and the CAS on Sunday Challenge Blog

Have an amazing day!!
